About us

Riverfysh is a Boston based rock band founded by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Natalie Paige. The power trio features smooth, soulful vocals, authentic, raw songwriting, and hard hitting blues guitar, in combination with the jazz mastery of Ethan Giles on bass and the beautiful fingerstyle work of Michael Borrett on acoustic guitar. All of this together creates a genre defying sound that manages to seamlessly fuse together elements of blues, rock, and jazz. With such a wide breadth of musical expertise, there is nothing this group cannot play. Riverfysh is well on their way to completing their first groundbreaking studio album and becoming distinguished members of the Boston music scene.

Meet The Band

Natalie Paige

Natalie Paige started her journey as a guitarist and musician at the age of 10. What initially began as a frivolous attempt to best her older brother quickly turned into a lifelong passion, prompting many years of lessons and a study of guitar and songwriting at Berklee College of Music. Her love of the blues then brought her to Memphis, TN, where she spent three years shaping her unique sound as lead guitarist for the band Elevation. Driven by a dream to start writing and recording her own original music, Natalie relocated back to the Boston area and founded Riverfysh in 2022. She is thrilled to be collaborating with such a talented group of musicians and continues to keep her authentic, soulful songwriting at the forefront of her musical endeavors.

Ethan Giles

Ethan Giles is a bassist and musician from the northern reaches of New Hampshire. He studied music at the University of New Hampshire in which he received his BM in Music Education with an emphasis on double bass. He has played in various bands for the last 9 years, ranging from punk, jazz, or even classical chamber ensembles. With a love of theory and composition, he strives to write and perform music that is fresh and exciting. He is currently a music teacher in Brookline MA.

Michael Borrett

Michael Borrett first started playing guitar in high school where he studied different styles of classical guitar including renaissance-style guitar arrangements of lute music and Spanish flamenco guitar. He subsequently picked up the electric guitar and played in a blues trio band. Currently, Michael focuses on fingerstyle acoustic rhythm guitar and has played in Riverfysh since the band’s inception.
